Corsets have been around for centuries, but only in recent decades have they become a staple of couture fashion. That's because corsets have the unique ability as a garment to tighten posture, slim the waistline and boost the bust -- a perfect combination for aesthetic appeal. Corsets bring couture culture a sexy look while promoting the classic figure.
High quality boned corsets that use steel will keep their shape over time even if you want to wear them all night long, whereas acrylic (plastic) boned corsets might not. The flat bones make for a smooth, streamlined shape without any lumps or bumps and they really will change the figure if laced tightly. Most wearers can expect a four or five inch waist reduction.
Don't be put off by thinking steel would be uncomfortable either. As any connoisseur will tell you, well-made steel boned corsets offer an outstanding level of support and that means comfort too. Steel boned corsets will pull waistlines in by 4-5" and will push and lift the cleavage if desired. These garments are fully adjustable at the back so you can tension according to comfort or control. Our Steel Boned Corsets have 2 spiral bone & 12 flat steel bones for ultimate control, 100% cotton lining for comfort and removable modesty panels allowing you to cover your back or wear the corset open. These authentic corsets have steel busks (unless otherwise noted) and 4 layers of fabric for strength. We use a range of luscious fabrics and fine trimmings- in this collection there is no shortage of brocade and lace, satin and ribbon.
A Steel Boned Corsets' style is a perfect balance between sexy and romantic. They are made to order and dispatched within 2-3 weeks. Our corsets are of top-notch quality, an excellent fit, always elegant, very exotic and sexy, and yet are very competitively priced.
Our Steel Boned Corsets include a modesty panel and lacing that will allow them to be cinched (according to comfort or control) over a 6 inch range. You can choose up to 6 inches smaller than your waist measurement if your goal is maximum waist reduction.
When choosing your corset size, measure the smallest part of your natural waist, and select a size that will offer the reduction you desire. A size at least 4 inches smaller than your waist measurement is recommended in order for it to not be too big.
Furthermore, because the stated size is the smallest a corset can be cinched, a corset the same size as your waist measurement will likely be too big. For example, a person with a 34 inch waist would order a 30 or 28 inch corset.
